Lot 42- Trade Mark Lightning – Quart – Deep Citron- Whittled

Base Marking: Putnam 250

Color: Bright Yellow Green with Matching Lid

Scarcity: Scarce

Condition:  Excellent with a perfect ground mouth and nice overall whittled effect to the glass

Closure:  All Original with Matching Lid

Embossing Strength:  Very Strong

Period: Late 1800’s

Patent Dates: PATD JAN 5 75. REISD JUNE 5 77. PATD APR 25 82. (ON LID)

Mold Notes: TYPE II –TRADE MARK with 5/16″ space between Trade and Mark. The lettering is small standing only 5/16″ tall AND LIGHTNING has 1/2″ lettering height and spans across jar a total of 4 7/8″.  (THIS IS THE JAR USED AND SHOWN AS TYPE II ON HGCS LIGHTNING PAGE)
